The ferries depart from the harbour in Bensersiel several times a day and take you to your car-free holiday island break in a relaxed manner. The ferries sail according to a fixed, tide-independent timetable. On the approximately one-hour mini-cruise, you can enjoy the fresh North Sea breeze and your anticipation of the island. Arriving on Langeoog feels nostalgic: here you board the island train directly at the harbour, which is included in the ticket price and takes you comfortably to the train station within 10 minutes. Once there, you are practically at your destination: it is then only a short 300 metre walk to us at Upstalsboom Langeoog.
Welcome to Langeoog - your holiday begins!
Our island of Langeoog is car-free. Guarded, chargeable car parks and garages - also for electric cars - are available at the ferry terminal in Bensersiel. Parking your car marks the start of your completely car-free holiday - a real treat for body and soul.
Check in your luggage (larger than 55 x 45 x 25 cm) at the luggage terminal in Bensersiel. This ensures safety on board and allows you to move around the ship more freely. Your luggage will be transported directly to the island railway station by ferry and then by train, where you can collect it again in comfort.
By the way: You are welcome to take pushchairs and bicycle trailers for small children on board yourself.
Please remember to carry any items you may need on the ferry crossing, such as baby bottles, dog treats, camara, medication, etc., in your hand luggage.
You can also drop off bicycles, bicycle trailers and handcarts in Bensersiel and pick them up again at the island railway station. Free packing material is available at the terminal to protect your bikes.
Important: E-scooters or Segways are not permitted on Langeoog and will not be taken on the ferry.
